Support team

Sue joined Castle Vets in the Admin Team in 2020, working 4 mornings per week. She had previously worked in prisons, education and publishing.

Outside of work Sue is kept busy with her horse Buddy and her small flock of sheep. She also enjoys gardening, walking her dog, and cooking.

Yvonne is one of our part-time administrators she joined the team in 2021 after taking retirement & finding she had spare time on her hands. Yvonne worked as an auxiliary nurse in the 1980's which has made the transfer of professions easier.

Outside of work she enjoys being outdoors & takes part in many activities such as horse riding, mountain & road biking, paddle boarding, tap dancing and walking her dogs, Hugo & Moss.

Sue is one of our receptionists at the Barnard Castle practice. She started with us in 1997.

At home Sue has a Labrador and 17 chickens!

Rachael started working at Castle Vets in October 2012 as an auxiliary nurse which she did for 4 years before moving to the role of receptionist at our St Helens branch.

Outside of work Rachael enjoys spending time with her family and their pets which include their two standard Poodles, Albie and Calamity and Valentino and Lucia their Siamese cats.

Hannah is one of our receptionists at Barnard Castle, she joined us in 2021 after moving to the area. She enjoys meeting our lovely clients and their pets.

Outside of work she looks after her small flock of sheep on the family farm and her cat Mini.

Judith is one of our receptionists at the St Helens branch, she started with us in 2021. Judith is originally from Yorkshire where she worked as a Drs Receptionist.

She has 20 chickens, 1 duck, 2 geese, 1 Border Collie and 2 cats to keep her busy outside of work.
